Hints
- Avoid
skipping meals.
- Eat
slowly and savour the taste. Put down the fork between bites,
and chew completely before swallowing. Pause in the middle
of your meal.
- Do
your grocery shopping after a meal, and only buy what is
on your list.
- Drink
water before, after, and between meals. (Minimum 1.5 litres
or 8 glasses a day).
- Choose
lean cuts of meat and remove any visible fat. Use the least
amount of oil possible when cooking.
- Eat
fresh fruit. Choose fruit in its own juice if you eat canned
fruit.
- Exercise
Regularly

keep well hydrated during exercise
- Layer
clothing so not to overheat
- Always
warm up before stretching
- Never
stretch to warm up (muscles are cold)
- After
vigorous exercise is the best time to consume carbs and
protein. Your body will absorb 2-3 times more because of
depleted muscles.
