Qualifications and Desired Skill Set:

  • Degree/diploma in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education or related field is preferred.
  • Current or in the process of obtaining Personal Training Certification - ACE, BCRPA, Can-Fit-Pro.
  • Thorough knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology and strength training principles.
  • Experience in exercise prescription, exercise instruction and fitness testing is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of nutrition and weight management is preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Candidates must be flexible to work evenings and or weekend shifts.
